Scott Seger

President, CBTS

Scott Seger is President of CBTS and reports directly to Leigh Fox, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc. Scott’s focus is on serving business customers and on growing the CBTS brand through organic and inorganic strategies. Mr. Seger joined CBTS in March of 2005 and most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager. His roles at the company have also included Director of Midrange Computing and Vice President of Sales. Before joining CBTS, Scott worked at Xerox for nine years. In his last role at Xerox, Scott was National Director of Procurement Services, and responsible for all third-party product sales for Xerox Global Services. Scott also held various information technology positions at Scripps Howard. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University, and was an Evans Scholar. Read More

Jeff Lackey

Senior Vice President, National Markets

Jeff Lackey is Senior Vice President – National Markets at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS, and is based in Indianapolis. Jeff joined CBTS in March of 2016 and is leading CBTS’ expansion beyond the Greater Cincinnati market through organic growth, and the acquisition of synergistic businesses. Jeff held a variety of senior roles in the information technology industry before joining CBTS. He was the founder of KSM Consulting, which focused on expanding the commercial market’s adoption of personal computing and network-based technology; was President of Broadwing Technology Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of a public company; and was President and CEO of Core Business Technology Solutions, the privatized regional information technology services division of Broadwing. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Read More

Paul Khawaja

Senior Vice President, OnX Canada

Paul Khawaja is Senior Vice President of OnX Canada and reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Paul joined OnX Canada in March of 2012 as Executive Vice President, and added the position of COO - Cloud and Managed Services six months later. He assumed his current position in 2013. Paul is driving the organization’s growth, strategy and development for enterprise infrastructure solutions, managed services and digital services. He is leading OnX Canada through a focused transformation from traditional IT offerings to client-focused services and solutions. Before joining OnX, Paul served as Vice President of Bell, and President of xwave. He also held leadership positions in sales, operations and business development at MITI Information Technology. Greg Wheeler

Vice President & Principal, Communications

Greg Wheeler is Vice President and Principal – Communications at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Greg joined the company in October of 2002, and most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Sales for the Small and Medium business segment. Greg has held a number of leadership roles at the company, including leading the out-of-territory market expansion efforts in Indianapolis, Louisville, Columbus and Dayton. Greg has over 20 years of technology sales and operations experience. Before joining CBTS, Greg held positions at Level 3 Communications in Denver, and CDW in Chicago. Greg is a board member of REDI Cincinnati and a Xavier University Executive Mentor. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, and an MBA from Xavier University. Read More

Jim Vorwald

Vice President & Principal, Cloud Services

Jim Vorwald is Vice President and Principal – Cloud Services at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Jim is responsible for all CBTS cloud service practices, including the consulting, design, delivery and maintenance teams. Jim has over 30 years of telecommunications and IT management experience. He joined the company in June 2003 and most recently was Vice President – Solution Design & Management. Prior to that, Jim was a Managing Program Director at CBTS serving a Fortune 10 customer. Jim managed the customer’s datacenter operations, compute services, network operations, network build, server build and PMO operations. Before joining the company, Jim was an executive at AT&T. He is a BBB and Xavier University Technology Council board member, and holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Xavier University. Read More

Steve Lankard

Vice President & Principal, Infrastructure Solutions

Steve Lankard is Vice President and Principal – Infrastructure Solutions at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Steve joined CBTS in October 2017, where his responsibilities include developing strategic vendor partnerships and matching vendor initiatives with CBTS strategy. Steve also manages subject matter expert teams, and sales support and business operations teams. Steve has over 28 years of experience in business and IT. Before joining CBTS, Steve spent six years at OnX Enterprise Solutions, where he most recently was Vice President – Alliances and Solutions Architects. He was also Chief Technology Officer and Vice President - Technology Solutions for the U.S. division. Before OnX, Steve held IT leadership positions with Agilysys, Pioneer-Standard Electronics and Citibank. He is a member of numerous industry boards and advisory councils, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Nyack College. Read More

Al Early

Vice President & Principal, Consulting Services

Al Early is Vice President and Principal - Consulting Services at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Al joined CBTS in January of 2007 as Vice President – Professional Services. Al and his team have grown the Professional Services business from $3.5 million in annual revenue in 2006, to $48 million in 2016. He established the Application Solutions practice and has also been integral to establishing organic branches in the national market. His organization successfully recruited over 600 technical resources in 2016. Before joining CBTS, Al led a similar IT sales and recruiting practice at Definitive Solutions Company. Al serves on the Board of CancerFree KIDS, and Board of the Cincinnati IT Cluster Council. Al also mentors underprivileged adults who are looking to create successful, sustaining careers via the Job Works organization. Al holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University. Read More

Brian Quinn

Vice President & Principal, Enterprise Programs

Brian Quinn is Vice President and Principal – Enterprise Programs at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Brian specializes in combining people, process and technology to create and deliver innovative IT services for enterprise customers. He also leads a research and development organization focused on developing cloud and IOT solutions. Brian started working for the company in January of 1990 and has spent the majority of his career in leadership positions. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Read More

Eric Miller

Vice President, Marketing

Eric Miller is Vice President - Marketing at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Eric assumed his current role in June 2017 and works closely with the Sales teams and Practice Leaders to deliver an integrated marketing plan for CBTS, from marketing strategy to execution of promotional campaigns and Partner programs. Eric and his team are leading the effort to digitally transform CBTS’ marketing efforts by creating and delivering relevant content focused on solving clients’ business challenges. Eric joined the company in 1993, and has held various positions in Marketing, Product Development and Sales Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Read More

Ryan Mast

Vice President, Service Delivery

Ryan Mast is Vice President – Service Delivery at CBTS. He reports directly to Scott Seger, President of CBTS. Ryan assumed his current role in May of 2015, and is responsible for the overall consistent delivery of Services to CBTS customers. Ryan joined CBTS in May of 2001, and spent the first decade of his tenure working on the Global Infrastructure Services Compute Build project for a Fortune 20 customer. Ryan assumed the role of Infrastructure Services Director of Operations in 2010, and was named Director of CBTS Managed Services in 2011. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is certified in ITIL v2 and v3 Foundation, earned his Certified Project Manager credentials from Xavier University, and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Read More
