President & CEO, CBTS
Jeff Lackey is President and CEO of CBTS. Jeff joined CBTS in March of 2016 and has held a number of executive roles, including serving as Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales, and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. As President of CBTS, Jeff is leading the organization’s growth strategy and overseeing its evolution from a traditional infrastructure and managed services company, to one of the industry’s leading cloud, communications, and consulting providers.
Jeff held a variety of senior roles in the information technology industry before joining CBTS. He was the founder of KSM Consulting, which focused on expanding the commercial market’s adoption of personal computing and network-based technology; was President of Broadwing Technology Solutions; and was President and CEO of Core Business Technology Solutions, the privatized regional information technology services division of Broadwing. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Chief Financial Officer
Shannon is responsible for accounting, finance, collections, accounts payable and sourcing functions, as well as analytics and insights. She has served as Senior Vice President of Administrative Services since 2020.
Shannon joined the company in 2004 in the SEC reporting and corporate accounting group. From 2006 through 2017, she has held numerous positions in Finance, supporting multiple business units. In 2017, Shannon moved into the role of Vice President & Corporate Controller, serving in this position until 2019, when she became Vice President Customer Experience at CBTS.
Shannon earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University and is a certified public accountant. Prior to joining the company, she was an Audit Manager at KPMG LLP.

Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Brandon reports directly to Jeff Lackey. In addition to overseeing IT Operations and Human Resources, Brandon is also responsible for CBTS cloud solutions, including the consulting, design, delivery, and maintenance teams. Brandon joined CBTS in June 2016 as part of the CBTS Cloud practice focused on building transformation teams to enable public cloud migrations and services.
Prior to joining CBTS, Brandon was an IT executive at General Electric, where he held leadership roles in Compute Operations and Cyber Security. Before joining General Electric, Brandon held multiple IT leadership positions at NCR Corporation as a software developer. Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.

Senior Vice President, U.S. Sales
Brian Brickner, Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales at CBTS, reports directly to Jeff Lackey. He's had a storied career in technology-beginning with our parent company, Cincinnati Bell-and has risen through the ranks of the sales department over the years after starting as an Account Executive.
A graduate of Bowling Green State university, he lends his wealth of more than 20 years of experience and strong support to sales operations and the Inside Sales and Renewals team. His goal is to provide exceptional and consistent service to our customers and partners.

Vice President & General Counsel
Heather Cameron is Vice President and General Counsel at CBTS. She reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. Heather advises the executive and senior management and investor board on various matters such as legal rights, new and existing laws, and our policy and position on legal matters. She is also responsible for examining and crafting draft agreements, such as employment, customer, and vendor agreements; maintaining knowledge of our operations and legal documents; and conducting legal research and review of the Company's litigation strategy in regard to legal actions.
A graduate of Texas A & M and Harvard Law, Heather brings over 20 years of experience as a General Counsel, advising executive management on strategic and operational matters across diverse industry sectors, including technology, financial services, automotive, retail, manufacturing, and distribution. Her multi-state and international experience informs her more than ten years of experience as a Vice President and General Counsel to multiple departments, including IT.

Senior Vice President, Consulting Services
Al Early is Senior Vice President of Consulting Services at CBTS. He reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. Al joined CBTS in January of 2007 as Director – Professional Services.
Al and his team have grown the Professional Services business from $3.5 million in annual revenue to over $135 million in the past ten years. He established the Application Solutions practice and has been integral to establishing organic branch offices based on client needs. Recently, his group opened a CBTS offshore office in India. His organization successfully recruits hundreds of technical resources annually.
Before joining CBTS, Al led a similar IT sales and recruiting practice at Definitive Solutions Company. Al serves on the Board of CancerFree KIDS, and Board of the Cincinnati IT Cluster Council. Al also mentors underprivileged adults who are looking to create successful, sustaining careers via the Job Works organization. Al holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.

Senior Vice President, Canada
Paul Khawaja is Senior Vice President – Canada, and reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. Paul joined the company in March of 2012 as Executive Vice President, and added the position of COO - Cloud and Managed Services six months later. Paul is driving the organization’s growth, strategy and development for enterprise infrastructure solutions, managed services and digital services. He is leading Canada sales and operations through a focused transformation from traditional IT offerings to client-focused services and solutions. Before joining the company, Paul served as Vice President of Bell, and President of xwave. He also held leadership positions in sales, operations and business development at MITI Information Technology.

Vice President, Marketing
Eric Miller is Vice President of Marketing, he reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. Eric works closely with Sales and Practice Leaders to plan and execute CBTS marketing activities, including brand campaigns, product promotion, client events, and Partner programs.
Eric and his team are leading the effort to digitally transform CBTS marketing efforts by creating and delivering relevant content focused on solving clients’ business challenges.
Eric has held various positions in Marketing, Product Development, and Sales Management at the company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Vice President, Global Services
Brian Quinn is Vice President of Global Services at CBTS. He reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. Brian is responsible for working with CBTS’ largest customers to solve their most complex IT business needs. Digital transformation, flexible consumption of IT resources, and cloud migrations are hallmark solutions that Brian and his team deliver. Brian joined the CBTS family of companies in 1993 and has held a number of leadership roles at CBTS, including serving most recently as Vice President and Principal – Enterprise Programs. Brian’s previous roles also include serving as Vice President of Managed Services, and Vice President of Programs – a position that entailed supporting a Fortune 50 client with managed services and products. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Senior Vice President, Accounts and Business Alliances
Scott Seger is Senior Vice President of Global Accounts and Business Alliances. He reports directly to Jeff Lackey, President of CBTS. In this position, Scott leads the Business Alliance team and the Global Accounts team and plays a key role in realizing our significant growth targets. A successful industry veteran who is an expert at navigating the complexities of the IT landscape and our clients’ constantly changing needs, he will also be advancing key partnerships, vendor relationships, and growth within our strategic global account base. Scott earned his bachelor's degree in computer systems analysis from Miami University and held positions at Scripps Howard, The Future Now, and Xerox before joining CBTS.
